Huntley Hitmen 12U took the lead late in the game in a 9-4 victory over Lake County Lightning on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Huntley Hitmen 12U batting in the bottom of the fourth when.
Lake County Lightning scored three runs in the first inning, but Huntley Hitmen 12U still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Lake County Lightning came thanks to a single by Kaden, a walk by Brogen, and a single by Tyler.
Lake County Lightning captured the lead in the first inning. Lake County Lightning scored one run when Kaden singled with one out in the first inning.

Huntley Hitmen 12U Blows Out Lake In The Hills Gold

Huntley Hitmen 12U blew out Lake in the Hills Gold 11-5 on Monday.
Huntley Hitmen 12U took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth there was an error, scoring one run, Zyon S singled off of #23, driving in one run, #2 induced Alex H to ground out, but one run scored, Nate T doubled off of #2, driving in one run, and Ben B singled off of #2, driving in one run.
Huntley Hitmen 12U had nine hits in the game. Jake S and Zyon each collected multiple hits for Huntley Hitmen 12U. Jake, Ben, Tyler R, Alex, Zyon, Nate, Jeremy J, and Nikko E each drove in one run to lead Huntley Hitmen 12U. Huntley Hitmen 12U stole 13 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Jake led the way with five.

Hitmen 12U watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-4 loss to Mchenry Cobras on Saturday. Mchenry Cobras scored on a error in the first inning, a single by #7 Keagan in the second inning, and a groundout by #10 Nothorf in the second inning.
Huntley Hitmen 12U took an early lead in the first inning. Jake S doubled on a 1-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Mchenry Cobras took the lead for good with two runs in the first inning. In the first there was an error, scoring one run.
Huntley Hitmen 12U scored three runs in the sixth inning. Huntley Hitmen 12U scored on a fielder’s choice and a error.
Mchenry Cobras scored five runs in the fourth inning. Mchenry Cobras’s big inning was driven by a error, a single by #11 Lindquist, a groundout by #17 Grubich, and a single by #14 Boal.
Jake, Trent H, and Zyon S each collected one hit to lead Huntley Hitmen 12U.
Mchenry Cobras had 12 hits in the game. #7 Keagan, #21 Schoeps, and #14 Boal each collected multiple hits for Mchenry Cobras. #10 Nothorf led Mchenry Cobras with two runs batted in. He went 0-for-3 on the day. #14 Boal led Mchenry Cobras with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.

Huntley Hitmen 12U and Northwest Vipers played a taut affair on Wednesday, but Huntley Hitmen 12U eventually prevailed 7-6 after taking the lead for good in the sixth inning. Northwest Vipers was down 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Preston S uncorked a wild pitch, scoring one run.
