Huntley Hitmen 12U grabbed an early lead on its way to a 9-5 victory over Mchenry Cobras on Tuesday. Huntley Hitmen 12U scored on a groundout by Zyon S in the first inning, a single by Tyler R in the first inning, a walk by Jake S in the second inning, and a double by Tyler in the second inning.

Mchenry Cobras took an early lead in the first inning.

Huntley Hitmen 12U took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first #17 Grubich induced Zyon S to ground out, but one run scored, Tyler R singled off of #17 Grubich, driving in one run, and there was an error, scoring one run.

Huntley Hitmen 12U scored five runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Jake S and a double by Tyler.

Huntley Hitmen 12U had eight hits in the game. Tyler and Jake each collected multiple hits for Huntley Hitmen 12U. Jake and Tyler each managed two hits to lead Huntley Hitmen 12U. Huntley Hitmen 12U tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Ben B led the way with two.

It came down to the last play, but Huntley Hitmen 12U was on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Woodstock Avalanche on Friday. The game was tied at five with Woodstock Avalanche batting in the bottom of the seventh when there was an error, scoring one run.

Woodstock Avalanche had six hits in the game. Cote and Schwarz each collected multiple hits for Woodstock Avalanche. Woodstock Avalanche tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Sivore led the way with three.

Congrats to our 11u team who has started off the season 6-0. Keep up the hard work boys and all the time and effort you guys put in over the winter is paying off. Like all Hitmen teams keep Playing Hard, Playing Smart, and Having Fun.

Huntley Hitmen 12U stayed in it until the end, but Crystal Lake Slam pulled away late in a 15-12 victory on Monday. Crystal Lake Slam was down 10-9 in the top of the fifth inning when #14 singled off of Nikko E, driving in two runs.
Huntley Hitmen 12U collected 11 hits and Crystal Lake Slam had 12 in the high-scoring affair

Alex H and Trent H each collected multiple hits for Huntley Hitmen 12U. Trent and Alex each collected two hits to lead Huntley Hitmen 12U. Tyler R led Huntley Hitmen 12U with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 17 stolen bases.

  1. and #66 each collected multiple hits for Crystal Lake Slam. Crystal Lake Slam tore up the base paths, as six players stole at least two bases. #87 led the way with two.

Huntley Hitmen 12U couldn’t keep up with Indiana Mustangs and fell 9-5 on Sunday.
Indiana Mustangs scored four runs in the third inning. The big inning for Indiana Mustangs came thanks to a triple by #22, a double by #21, and a wild pitch.
Huntley Hitmen 12U collected seven hits. Alex H and Preston S each collected multiple hits for Huntley Hitmen 12U. Preston and Alex all had two hits to lead Huntley Hitmen 12U.
Indiana Mustangs had 13 hits in the game. #7, #10, #21, and #8 each collected multiple hits for Indiana Mustangs.
