Two pitchers joined forces to throw a no-hitter for Hitmen in a 10-0 victory in four innings over Prospect Training Academy Cardinal on Saturday.
Jeremy was in control on the rubber. Jeremy held Prospect Training Academy Cardinal hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven.
Five runs in the first three innings helped Hitmen blow out Prospect Training Academy Cardinal. An RBI single by Jeremy in the first inning and a two-run single by Nikko E and a groundout by Alex H during the second inning supplied the early offense for Hitmen.
Nikko racked up two RBIs on one hit for Hitmen.

Hitmen lost 15-4 to Stiks Academy on Saturday as #7 allowed zero hits over two innings.
Stiks Academy was sparked by #4 and #6, who teamed up for five hits and eight RBIs.
The lead stayed with Stiks Academy after the first, when it scored three runs on an RBI single by #15 and a two-run triple by #6.
Stiks Academy added four more runs in the bottom of the second. #4 singled, plating #20 and #8 to start the inning. That was followed up by #15’s single, plating #4.
Four runs in the top of the third helped Hitmen close its deficit to 7-4. An RBI single by Zyon S, an RBI single by Trent H, and set off Hitmen rally. #15 ended the inning by getting Jake R to ground out.
After a quick strike from Hitmen, Stiks Academy responded with five runs in the third. Stiks Academy scored on a two-run single by #4, a two-run error, and an error.

Hitmen outhits Electric Baseball in 9-7 defeat

Hitmen lost 9-7 in six innings on Sunday, despite outhitting Electric Baseball 12 to five.
Jeremy J went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Hitmen. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Preston S had an impressive outing against Electric Baseball’s lineup. Preston held Electric Baseball hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Electric Baseball went up for good in the second, scoring three runs on an RBI single by #15 and.
Electric Baseball built upon its lead with four runs in the fourth. A ground out scored #12 for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by #7’s single, scoring #99.
After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the fifth, Hitmen faced just a 9-4 deficit. A two-run double by Preston triggered Hitmen’s comeback. Finally, #11 induced an inning-ending fly out from Zyon S.
After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the sixth, Hitmen faced just a 9-7 deficit. An RBI single by Jeremy and a two-run single by Trent H fueled Hitmen’s comeback. Hitmen’s Trevor K struck out to end the ballgame.

Jake S hits and pitches Hitmen to 7-4 victory

Jake S powered Hitmen at the plate and on the rubber Saturday, willing Hitmen to a 7-4 victory over Freeport Stix.
Jake S was solid at the plate for Hitmen. Jake S went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Jake S put together a nice outing. Freeport Stix managed just one hit off of S, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Hitmen scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead. Hitmen scored in the first on a wild pitch, an RBI single by Jake S, an error, and an RBI single by David K.
After pushing across one run in the top of the second, Freeport Stix faced just a 4-1 deficit. An error triggered Freeport Stix’s comeback. Hitmen stopped the rally after Preston S got #20 to strike out.
It didn’t take long for Hitmen to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the second. Hitmen scored on a two-run single by Nikko E.
After pushing across two runs in the top of the third, Freeport Stix faced just a 6-3 deficit. A wild pitch and a solo home run by #11 sparked Freeport Stix’s rally. The Freeport Stix threat came to an end when Jake S finally got #5 to ground out.
After pushing across one run in the top of the sixth, Freeport Stix faced just a 7-4 deficit. An RBI single by #2 gave Freeport Stix life. Jeremy J ended the game by getting #20 to strike out.

Hitmen built an early edge on Saturday, but Diamond Starz Storm roared back to steal a 12-6 victory.
Diamond Starz Storm took the lead in the fourth inning on a two-run single by #55.
Tyler R did his best to jumpstart the offense for Hitmen, reaching base three times. He singled in the fourth inning.
Diamond Starz Storm was sparked by #55 and #28, who teamed up for six hits and eight RBIs.
Hitmen survived Diamond Starz Storm’s surge and put up two runs of its own in the first. Hitmen scored on an error and an error.
The game’s last lead went to Diamond Starz Storm thanks to a fourth inning rally that saw six runs cross the plate on an error and three singles.
