Hitmen outhits Electric Baseball in 9-7 defeat

Hitmen lost 9-7 in six innings on Sunday, despite outhitting Electric Baseball 12 to five.
Jeremy J went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Hitmen. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Preston S had an impressive outing against Electric Baseball’s lineup. Preston held Electric Baseball hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Electric Baseball went up for good in the second, scoring three runs on an RBI single by #15 and.
Electric Baseball built upon its lead with four runs in the fourth. A ground out scored #12 for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by #7’s single, scoring #99.
After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the fifth, Hitmen faced just a 9-4 deficit. A two-run double by Preston triggered Hitmen’s comeback. Finally, #11 induced an inning-ending fly out from Zyon S.
After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the sixth, Hitmen faced just a 9-7 deficit. An RBI single by Jeremy and a two-run single by Trent H fueled Hitmen’s comeback. Hitmen’s Trevor K struck out to end the ballgame.
