Hitmen lost 15-4 to Stiks Academy on Saturday as #7 allowed zero hits over two innings.
Stiks Academy was sparked by #4 and #6, who teamed up for five hits and eight RBIs.
The lead stayed with Stiks Academy after the first, when it scored three runs on an RBI single by #15 and a two-run triple by #6.
Stiks Academy added four more runs in the bottom of the second. #4 singled, plating #20 and #8 to start the inning. That was followed up by #15’s single, plating #4.
Four runs in the top of the third helped Hitmen close its deficit to 7-4. An RBI single by Zyon S, an RBI single by Trent H, and set off Hitmen rally. #15 ended the inning by getting Jake R to ground out.
After a quick strike from Hitmen, Stiks Academy responded with five runs in the third. Stiks Academy scored on a two-run single by #4, a two-run error, and an error.
