Despite its efforts, Aurora Starz couldn’t finish the comeback.
It was a good day at the plate for Hitmen’s Jeremy J. Jeremy went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.
Aurora Starz jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. #12 kicked things off for Aurora Starz with a single. A stolen base then moved #12 from first to second. #6 tripled, bringing home #12 and #13. Aurora Starz added more runs when scored on an RBI single by #26.
Hitmen went up for good in the sixth, scoring one run on two singles.
