Dual-threat carries Hitmen past the Triple Crown Tigers 10-3

Jeremy Jaehnig carried Hitmen to a 10-3 victory over the Triple Crown Tigers on Friday with a strong game at the plate and on the rubber.

Jeremy racked up two RBIs on two hits for Hitmen. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Jeremy pitched lights out for Hitmen. The Triple Crown Tigers managed just one hit off of J, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out three during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Hitmen beat the Triple Crown Tigers thanks to 10 hits, including one extra base hits. Hitmen scored four runs in the second on Hitmen scored in the second on an RBI triple by Jeremy, an RBI single by Zyon Schlee, and a groundout by Preston Sarna.

Hitmen pushed two runs across in each of the third, fifth and sixth. In the third, Hitmen scored on an RBI single by Jeremy, plating Jake Simpson.

Hitmen added two more runs in the top of the sixth. A strike out scored Trent Hanson to start the scoring in the inning.
