Hitmen and Woodstock Avalanche exchanged the lead five times on Tuesday, but Hitmen ended up on top with an 11-7 win in six innings over Woodstock Avalanche.
Hitmen finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. A passed ball scored Zyon S to give Hitmen the lead for good.
Zyon racked up two RBIs on one hit for Hitmen. He doubled in the fifth inning.
The top of the first saw Hitmen take an early lead, 1-0. Jake S kicked things off for Hitmen with a single.
Hitmen increased its lead with four runs in the fifth. David K started the inning with a single, bringing home Preston S. That was followed up by Tyler R’s double, scoring David.
Five runs in the bottom of the sixth helped Woodstock Avalanche close its deficit to 11-7. An RBI double by #4, a steal of home by #4, a walk by #23, and a two-run double by #79 fueled Woodstock Avalanche’s comeback. Finally, Trevor K got #13 to ground out to end the game.

Jake S came up big at the dish and on the mound, leading Hitmen to a 8-4 win over North Shore Elite on Sunday.
Jake S racked up three RBIs on two hits for Hitmen. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
Jake S pitched lights out for Hitmen. Jake S held North Shore Elite hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
The top of the first saw North Shore Elite take an early lead, 1-0. A single by #24, plating #14 started the inning off.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as Hitmen scored two runs on a two-run double by Jake S.
Hitmen survived North Shore Elite’s surge and put up five runs of its own in the third. Hitmen scored on an RBI single by Jake S, a two-run double by Jeremy J, a groundout by Trent H, and a groundout by Nikko E.
Two North Shore Elite runs crossed the plate in the top half of the sixth, making the score 8-4. An RBI double by #24 and a wild pitch gave North Shore Elite life. Jeremy got the last out, as North Shore Elite’s #12.

Hitmen jumped out to an early lead on marengo outlaws and captured a 13-0 victory on Sunday.
Thirteen runs in the first three innings allowed Hitmen to put the game away early.
Jake S put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Hitmen.
Marengo outlaws couldn’t get anything going as long as Trevor K was pitching. Trevor held marengo outlaws hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Jake S, Zyon S, Tyler R and Alex H helped lead Hitmen. They combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
Hitmen piled on four more runs in the bottom of the third. A wild pitch scored David K to get Hitmen on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Zyon’s double, plating Tyler.

Hitmen beat Barrington Broncos Black 11-3 Sunday behind both the bat and the arm of Jake S.
Jake S went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for Hitmen. He singled in the first and third innings.
Barrington Broncos Black couldn’t get anything going as long as Jake S was on the hill. Jake S held Barrington Broncos Black hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Eight runs in the opening three innings allowed Hitmen to easily put away Barrington Broncos Black. An RBI single by Jake S and a three-run triple by Jeremy J in the first inning and a groundout by Preston S during the second inning helped Hitmen put some runs on the board early.
The top of the first saw Barrington Broncos Black take an early lead, 2-0. Barrington Broncos Black got things going when #22 singled. Barrington Broncos Black added more runs when scored on an RBI single by #19.
Hitmen increased its lead with three runs in the third. The inning got off to a hot start when Jake S singled, bringing home Zyon S. That was followed up by Trent H’s single, plating Jake S and Alex H.
Hitmen answered Barrington Broncos Black’s top inning with two runs of its own in the fifth. Hitmen scored on a two-run single by Alex and a two-run single by Alex.

Hitmen defeats North Shore Elite 7-4

Zyon Schlee went 2-3, sparking Hitmen to a 7-4 victory in six innings over North Shore Elite on Saturday.
He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Trent Hanson looked sharp on the bump. North Shore Elite managed just one hit off of Trent, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Hitmen jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. Hitmen’s rally started when Jeremy Jaehnig singled. A stolen base then moved Jeremy from first to second. Trent doubled, bringing home Jeremy.

It didn’t take long for North Shore Elite to respond as it scored one run of its own in the second. North Shore Elite scored on an RBI single by #5.

The game’s last lead went to Hitmen thanks to a fourth inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on two singles.

Hitmen built upon its lead with four runs in the fifth. A single by Tyler Rojek ignited the offense,. That was followed up by Zyon’s single, scoring Tyler.

After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the fifth, North Shore Elite faced just a 7-3 deficit. An RBI double by #6 and a wild pitch fueled North Shore Elite’s comeback. Finally, Jeremy got #11 to strike out to end the threat.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, North Shore Elite faced just a 7-4 deficit. A passed ball set off North Shore Elite rally. But, Jeremy got #52 to to end the game.
